Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, in Beaumont Puy of Domme. Her parents encouraged her parents, a dentist, and a teacher who were both teachers to pursue her passion for the theatre. It was in stark contrast her earlier ambition to be a primatologist due to the fact that she was a fan of monkeys. She rose to prominence as a child actress quickly and enjoyed enormous achievement. After her graduation in 1998, she took part in the French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning acting professionally. Though she was a student at in the Institut Catholique de Paris and went to church as a child, Tautou is now averse to her religious upbringing and has stated she's not Catholic. Neben her acting, Tautou has also been a model and the model of L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Also, she has an intense photographic passion and has recently produced an exhibition of her work at the Arles Festival with the name Superficial. Her photos are mostly about famous people and celebrities. Also, they include a collection of self portraits and also. Audrey Tautou's global recognition and popularity exploded after her performance as Amelie Poulain's main woman in Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a the box office and received acclaim at awards galas across the world. The film is still the top grossing French language movie on the market in US. The following year, she starred in British dramas including Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet Un long Sunday de Faancailles. Then Tautou moved to Hollywood where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
